|Rescue Me ID: 17-08-02-00149Ball Python (female)|
We have a ball python that I'm guessing is roughly 10-15 years old. She has been with us for a while but we know nothing about them, she hasn't been handled in years and at this point sits in a small cage due to lack of space, time & knowledge and this isn't fair to her. We need to find a new home for her immediately but I wanted to try this before bringing her to the humane society or anything of the sort. If I can't find placement for her in the next 48 hours however, we will be bringing her in. Anyone with better knowledge & space to care for her, please contact me as soon as possible via text or email. If you call, please leave a voicemail. (Less)

Meet Chester! 5-6 year old red Corn Snake. I adopted him around 2012. Want him to go to a good home where he will be well taken care of and appreciated which I am no longer able to do He is in a 55 gallon glass tank with a screen lid, light on top just for visibility and heating pad below. He is currently residing on the bottom shelf of a nice powder coated wrought iron stand which has a 75 gallon tank on the top shelf with my other reptile up for adoption, a ~7-8 year old Egyptian Uromastyx. would love to see them both go together, don't take up much space on just one stand, otherwise the Uro gets the stand and the snake will just be as is with his tank and accessories - no stand for this guy if adopted separately. Please let me know if any questions, thank you for reading (Less)

Meet Zelda! I got Zelda as a baby nearly 8 years ago. Uromastyx are vegetarian lizards so he eats salads, veggies, and fruit - no gross and expensive crickets! I want him to go to a good home where he will be taken good care of and give him the attention he deserves that I no longer can. He is in a 75 gallon tank with a powder coated wrought iron stand and his whole setup is included. He has a house-mate in a 55 gallon tank below him - a 4' long adult red corn snake that fits perfectly in the bottom half of the stand - can send more pictures of both if requested.

|PIease Read Before Adopting Reptiles & More in Minnesota|
Reptiles & More can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. Reptiles are interesting animals. Many types of reptiles and amphibians are kept as exotic pets. Snakes, turtles, iguanas, and frogs are popular examples. Keeping a reptile as a pet is a tremendous responsibility. Many reptile owners discover that owning a reptile is not as rewarding as they had hoped. Reptiles do not bond with people the way mammals can, and are sometimes neglected for that reason. Also, many people purchase young, small reptiles without being aware of or prepared for their eventual adult size. For example, Burmese Pythons are often bought as pets when they are about two feet long. However, many do not realize that Burmese Pythons are among the largest snakes in the world, with adults averaging 23 feet in length and weighing hundreds of pounds! There is now an established invasive population of Burmese Pythons in Florida due to pet owners releasing the snakes into the wild. Scientists believe these huge snakes will keep spreading out and will one day inhabit one third of the United States! Some owners are not prepared for the long lifespan of a pet reptile. Some species of turtles are known for their extreme longevity. Iguanas can grow to be six feet long and then live for 20 years. Sadly, many captive reptiles suffer from dehydration and kidney problems, poor nutrition, and all other manner of neglect. A person who is truly ready to commit to a reptile pet can alleviate some suffering by adopting an animal rather than purchasing new.
