My buddy has this snake. He use to be very friendly and loved going on walks and being held. Well my buddy is messing up and not taking care of him. I convinced him to let me find him a better home because he cant afford to take care of him anymore. He has not been able to eat for a couple months. I'm not sure how long snakes can go with out eating. There is $100 donation fee that will go to the website. He comes with his own light his own cage sliding glass doors and a lock with the keys. Has a water dish as well. Please someone adopt him immediately. He has gotten so skinny I don't want him dying.

We are moving and can't take our 2 snakes with us. Koba is a beautiful 2 yr old (6 ft) Red Tail Boa Constrictor. She eats frozen thawed, and is great with everyone who wants to hold her. She comes with a few months worth of food, and with her 4'x2'x2' custom black wood enclosure, complete with timed lighting, heating fixtures, ventilation and locking glass slide front. You can see both snakes in photo. She's about 6 ft now and beautiful! Experienced snake adopters preferred.

My beautiful pet snake, Severus, has been in my care for three years now, since she was a baby. Her home is clean and kept in fine condition, and she is in great health. She is over two feet long. Every day, for hours, she presses herself into the top of her terrarium, climbs the walls, hangs from her swing, and would do backflips probably if she had legs :-). She is a very active snake that needs to be held often, and let out of her home every day. The reason I am posting is because Severus needs a much more active lifestyle, with a caretaker that has lots of experience with snakes. The next caretaker for Severus needs to be actively engaged with her very often, and have plenty of experience with snakes. If you can give Severus a beautiful life, then please contact me. Contact by telephone, not by email, thank you. 323-822-5313 (Less)

Junior is an 8 year old ball python, I purchased him from East Bay Vivarium. He is a very mellow guy, my neighbors have young kids (between 8-10 yrs old) and they enjoy coming over and playing with him and have never had any problems doing so, in my 8 years of having him he has never tried to bite anyone. He is very healthy, never had any health problems. When feeding he has preferred to eat 2-3 adult mice instead of a small rat. I need to find a new home for him because I am moving away to college in January and cannot take him with me. if you are interested please email me at Crystalyn1234@gmail.com where I can give you my phone number for more information, Thank you (Less)

It really breaks my heart to have to post this but I need to find a better home for my snake, Larry Shabooboo. I've had her since I was a freshman in high school and never had problems with her. I'd hold her all the time, give her bath, let her room safely in my room. Last year she started biting. And not just biting but latching on and not letting go for 5+ minutes while I tried everything to get her off to the point I worried I'd hurt her. It made me completely afraid of her and now even watching videos of snakes makes me anxious. I'm looking for someone who works with difficult snakes and can give her a better home than I can. I just moved and my new place won't allow her. I have cried over this and finally at the point I have to let her go to someone that can work with her and give her a better life. (Less)

Jafar is a Colombian Red Tail Boa, we have had him for some time, and a joy to be around. However, we help animals get back to healthy lifestyle, diets and habits in general.. then we set them out for a future lifetime home. Jafar has been handled by two people, my daughter and myself, as well as a previous owner whom we rescued him from. He eats two XL rats, or one rabbit, FROZEN, we did not go with live animals as to keep hands a bit safer. He will come with his 'carrying case' a large heavy duty box, we used for feeding. He was never in a terrarium with us, as he was handled for hours on end, in the sunlight, and allowed freedoms with that. He does do well with being handled, prefers to hide in purses though. He does well in terrariums, as long as he is not spooked. He is a bit sensitive to sound, more so than most snakes I have dealt with prior. We would like to rehome him as soon as possible. The adoption fee is very simply going towards the food we have provided, a small fee returned towards medical bills and of course to insure his safety in his future home. He is just over 5 feet, shed 2 weeks ago with vibrant colors, beautiful shedding handled over night, once milky eyes were gone, even with little to no humidity. Eats very well, enjoys long walks as long as he is hanging off of somebody, is testy around children, and small dogs ( which should be a given anyways ) For any other questions of concerns please reach out. We have new scaley loves coming in asap and need to free up the room. Please contact me asap! (Less)

I actually have four red eared sliders that I have to give up due to me moving out of state. I have them in a pond that they just love the freedom of swimming and basking in the sun. They have a good life with me. I have two females that are about 19yrs old roughly. In size their both about...neck to back about 6' they're Very smart. They follow me and know my presence. The other two is another female I found wondering the neighborhood, she's about 3-4yrs, size about 3-4' dia and lastly a male about the 5-6yrs old about 4-5' dia. I hate to give them up but I can't take them. The two bigger ones I've had for 17yrs and have enjoyed them so much. I hate giving them up. :( (Less)

The turtle on the left has passed away. The turtle on the right is the one I plan on selling, getting rid of. I bought these guys at a flea market, without knowing anything about turtles. I've learned a lot since then, but can't quite take care of the remaining turtle. I want this guy to go to a home where people know what they're doing. For an extra 130 dollars, I can also give away a tub of sanitized turtle rocks, a medium sized glass tank, both lamps needed for their heating, food, water cleaner and etc. Please contact me if interested.

|PIease Read Before Adopting Reptiles & More in California|
Reptiles & More can make good pets in California if they match your IifestyIe. Reptiles are interesting animals. Many types of reptiles and amphibians are kept as exotic pets. Snakes, turtles, iguanas, and frogs are popular examples. Keeping a reptile as a pet is a tremendous responsibility. Many reptile owners discover that owning a reptile is not as rewarding as they had hoped. Reptiles do not bond with people the way mammals can, and are sometimes neglected for that reason. Also, many people purchase young, small reptiles without being aware of or prepared for their eventual adult size. For example, Burmese Pythons are often bought as pets when they are about two feet long. However, many do not realize that Burmese Pythons are among the largest snakes in the world, with adults averaging 23 feet in length and weighing hundreds of pounds! There is now an established invasive population of Burmese Pythons in Florida due to pet owners releasing the snakes into the wild. Scientists believe these huge snakes will keep spreading out and will one day inhabit one third of the United States! Some owners are not prepared for the long lifespan of a pet reptile. Some species of turtles are known for their extreme longevity. Iguanas can grow to be six feet long and then live for 20 years. Sadly, many captive reptiles suffer from dehydration and kidney problems, poor nutrition, and all other manner of neglect. A person who is truly ready to commit to a reptile pet can alleviate some suffering by adopting an animal rather than purchasing new.
